Odd Thomas

I like everything by Dean Koontz, and this is no exception, even though it veers away from the standard Dean Koontz formula just a bit. This is the first of several Odd Thomas books, and I definitely plan to read the others. The character is very likeable, and the story is engrossing. I had a hard time putting the book down.
